Well, first of all, you should know that lemon juice can irritate your dog’s stomach due to the high levels of citric acid. If your dog did already eat large amounts of lemon please contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. A small amount of lemon, even though is not recommended, won’t harm your dog and you won’t need to go to the vet.
