Well, that is until now! I am a dog owner myself and removing dog hair from my car is my least favorite pastime. However, throughout the years of owning a dog and a car, I have learned a few things.

Now, I don’t want to disappoint you, but you might not be able to remove every single hair from your car seats. However, I can tell you that using my tips your car will look at least 90% better!

Even though you might vacuum your car regularly, your dog sits on blankets, you might even have seat covers. But you still find pet hair embedded in the upholstery of the seats. Dog hair somehow still finds its way into your seats.

1. Lint roller

The most obvious solution to the dog hair problem is a lint roller! Lint rollers are the easiest and probably the cheapest way to remove dog hair from your car seats.

Lint rollers are also great because they are so compact, so you can keep them in your car at all times and use them whenever.

Now, the cheapest lint rollers might not be strong enough to pick up all the dog hair from your seats. This is why you might want to buy a lint roller that is a bit better quality. You can even buy a lint roller that was specifically designed for pet hair!

2. Squeegee

Did you know that you can remove dog and cat hair using only a squeegee? It’s true! Squeegees are great for removing pet hair from car seats, carpets, blankets, your couch…

Well, basically the rubber blade catches hair as you move it against your seats or carpet. The trick is to move the squeegee in a single direction from top to bottom. After a few moves, wipe the hair from the blade and continue the process.

3. Pumice stone

I have tried a few stupid tricks I found on the internet in hopes to remove dog hair from my cat. What stupid tricks you might ask? Well, like the one where I tried to remove dog hair with a balloon. This kind of makes sense in theory, but doesn’t really work in reality!

Then I did some research and some more research, and then I found it. THE VIDEO! I found a Youtube video from a guy that cleans cars for a living. Well, he used a pumice stone. But not just any pumice stone. He used the Fur-Zoff Pet Hair Remover, and truth be told. This is the best thing to remove even the most stubborn dog hair from your car seats!
