Alison Hammond, the beloved star of This Morning, has been announced as the new presenter of the award-winning ITV series, For The Love of Dogs.
Get ready for some heartwarming moments as Alison heads to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to lend a helping hand to the adorable animals in their care.
Following the sad loss of the much-loved presenter Paul O’Grady last spring, Alison will step in to continue the incredible work of highlighting the stories of these furry friends and assisting Battersea’s expert staff and volunteers in preparing them for their forever homes.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Alison said:
“While I can never fill the shoes of the iconic Paul in this wonderful series, I am honored to shine a light on the amazing work done at Battersea and share the heartwarming journeys of these beautiful dogs. I can’t wait to join their search for loving forever homes and make plenty of furry friends along the way.”
The series, set to return in the spring, will showcase the adventures and challenges faced by the latest arrivals at Battersea.
