A Tail-Wagging Adventure with Lisa Ann Walter and Buster for PETA’s New Campaign

In PETA’s fresh pet adoption campaign, this dynamic duo is taking center stage. Get an exclusive sneak peek at their fun project, where the Abbott Elementary star, 60, and her furry friend Buster recreate the famous spaghetti and meatball scene from Lady and the Tramp.

Picture them sharing a long noodle over a checkered table while encouraging everyone with the message “Use Your Noodle. Adopt! Don’t Shop.”

PETA also gives us a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of this heartwarming campaign. Watch as Walter and Buster strike poses, exchange kisses, and set the mood with romantic tunes.

According to PETA, Walter welcomed Buster into her life shortly after he was born. The actress revealed to Good Dog that she met this adorable pup through her friend and Parent Trap co-star, Elaine Hendrix, who is passionate about animal rescue.

When Hendrix was caring for a pregnant rescue dog, Walter made the decision to adopt one of the puppies.

Walter gushes about Buster’s “loyalty” and “constant love,” highlighting her favorite qualities of her furry friend.

By teaming up with PETA, the actress joins a group of prominent advocates, including John Stamos, Tom Hardy, and Ron Perlman, in their quest to address the issue of homeless animals. According to PETA, an estimated 70 million dogs and cats are without a home, and the cycle continues as shelters struggle to accommodate more animals, leading to breeding on the streets without proper care.

Lisa Ann Walter’s collaboration with PETA comes hot on the heels of the season 3 premiere of the beloved comedy Abbott Elementary, where she stars alongside Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Janelle James.

Playing the role of second-grade teacher Melissa Schemmenti, Walter has won over audiences of all ages, even attracting attention from younger admirers.

After spending time with her co-stars and feeling inspired, Walter is ready to dip her toes back into the dating scene. Fans can catch more of her on the Emmy-winning show, as just three days after the season 3 premiere, the sitcom was renewed for a fourth season.

Tune in to Abbott Elementary on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC for a dose of laughter and heartwarming moments with Lisa Ann Walter and the rest of the fantastic cast.
