Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith: Welcome Street-Found Pup Marshmallow into Their Family

Actress Mandy Moore, known for her role in “Dr. Death,” recently shared delightful news on Instagram about the newest addition to her family.

Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, introduced their followers to Marshmallow, an adorable blonde puppy.

According to Moore’s post, their nanny discovered Marshmallow roaming the streets miles away from their home.

Despite not actively seeking another dog, the couple couldn’t resist the unexpected joy Marshmallow brought. The puppy, around 6-7 months old, unchipped, and not yet fixed (but scheduled for the following week), captivated their hearts.

Moore mentioned the striking resemblance to their late dog Joni, making it impossible to ignore Marshmallow’s presence.

The actress shared insights into Marshmallow’s introduction to their household, mentioning the nonchalant reaction of their cats and the initial uncertainty of their 14-year-old shepherd mutt rescue, Jackson.

However, Marshmallow is gradually winning everyone over, including Moore and Goldsmith’s 2-year-old son, August “Gus” Harrison.

Moore expressed Gus’s enthusiastic response when shown a picture of Marshmallow, stating,

“When we showed Gus a picture of him and asked what his name was, without hesitation he shouted ‘Marshmallow!’ With his arms in the air. Done and done.”

The family, which also includes son Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett, born in October 2022, is looking forward to the adventures Marshmallow will bring.

Moore concluded the post with the hashtag “#adoptdontshop,” emphasizing the importance of pet adoption.

Famous friends, including Rachel Bilson and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, showed their support for the Moore-Goldsmith family’s latest furry member.
