Two dog owners decided to test their pooch Luna’s willpower in a fun way, and it’s no surprise that TikTok users are loving the results.
In a video that has taken the internet by storm, Luna the miniature cockapoo walks into a room to find her owners pretending to sleep, each holding a treat at the perfect height for her to grab.
Luna spots the treat immediately and sniffs it, but decides not to dive in when it’s in her dad’s hand. Instead, she tries to use her puppy eyes to wake him up.
When her mom tries, Luna wastes no time in helping herself to the treat. Her owners were amused by the difference in Luna’s behavior, joking that “she just went for it” the second time around.
Luna’s funny antics have entertained many social media users. Since the video was shared on TikTok (@lunatheminicockapoo) on February 19, it has been viewed over 2.4 million times and received more than 105,300 likes.
The video also sheds light on the importance of teaching dogs impulse control from a young age. The American Kennel Club (AKC) recommends training dogs to practice self-control to prevent bad habits.
