Meet Matrix and Seymour: Your Perfect Furry Companions Await

Jackson, MI – Get ready to meet your new best friends at Cascades Humane Society! Among the adorable pets seeking forever homes, Matrix and Seymour steal the spotlight.

Looking for a charming and trainable companion? Look no further than Matrix!

This handsome guy, just a year old, is bursting with energy and eager to learn. He’s already a pro at “sit” and is ready to amaze you with even more tricks.

With a treat in hand, Matrix is unstoppable!

Matrix is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of dogs that match his energy level. In the CHS play yard, he’s a bundle of joy, sprinting around and exploring every nook and cranny.

While he walks decently on a leash, he truly shines when he’s harnessed up for his exciting adventures.

Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-negative, Matrix is all set to find his forever home. You might hear the staff call him “Walter” since that was his previous name when he was at CHS as a puppy.

Now, let’s talk about the dashing Seymour! With gorgeous green eyes and a stunning light gray-and-white coat, Seymour is a sight to behold.

When he meets a new friend, his first instinct is to roll over and soak up all the petting he can get. He even enjoys having his soft white belly gently stroked.

If you’re not giving Seymour enough attention, he’ll nudge your hands for more affection. While he’s interested in toys, nothing compares to the love and care of a human companion.

Seymour is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If Matrix or Seymour have captured your heart and you believe they could be the perfect additions to your furry family, pay us a visit!

Cascades Humane Society, located at 1515 Carmen Drive, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Rest assured, all dogs and cats at Cascades Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and protected against parasites before adoption.

As a bonus, those who adopt pets receive a free wellness checkup from any of the 24 partnering veterinarians in the area.

For dog owners considering adopting another dog, a meet and greet is required to ensure compatibility between the furry friends.

Exciting news! CHS has expanded its Spay and Neuter Assistance Program, offering additional services during scheduled surgeries.

These include vaccines, heartworm testing for dogs, FIV and FeLV testing for cats, and dental procedures.

To support families facing financial hardship, CHS also operates a Pet Food Pantry. Donations of cat or dog food in their original packaging are warmly welcomed.

Simply drop off your contribution at the pole barn behind the facility. The Pet Food Pantry is open from noon to 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month.

If you’re ready to bring home Matrix, Seymour, or another incredible pet, you can apply for adoption online.
